About FW22 Incantation of the Water Collection

Masculinity VS femininity and how men and women should dress has always been debated since a long time ago. But as time flies, societal constraints of gender seem to drop, society is becoming more open and accepting as a whole, the lines of feminine and masculine become more and more blurred.

However, there are still a few people with a strong opinion on what clothes are appropriate to what gender. In this collection, we want to assess the responsibility that fashion has to spark conversation concerning the injustices that are happening within society today, yet all while staying true to the brand's ethos that strives for a vision of gender fluidity and inclusivity.

 


We took inspiration from the Romantic Era with exaggerated silhouettes, puffy sleeves, dramatic basques waists, and ruched skirts and recontextualized it into modern and genderless pieces.
